Epstein was pretty obviously mossad but both russia and israel seem to both use the blackmail materials. Interesting how that woks from such a “staunch US ally” as israel is portrayed to be. How are they sharing this stuff?

Side note, I suggest a change to english writing standards whereby loathsome words like “putin” or “israel” become exceptions to capitalization rules and are always lower case. “US” is an exception only because it breaks the writing flow and reads as ‘us’.

There is a percentage of any population that just repeats shit they heard their role models say, like it’s the gospel. Image repair is going to involve starting “cool projects,” getting good interviews with popular influencers, and coaching a swarm of people to ignorantly support him for the “sake of humanity” or some shit. This is a weird faucet of human society, but look at how well it works…

It’s like you want to see what’s at the bottom of a well, but someone turns on a spigot of water to cause ripples. You can’t tell whether what’s down there is more round or square, now. Later they add food coloring, and you can’t really recall by this point if the object was originally red or orange… Soon they toss in some disco balls, and now you’ve gotten distracted by the shiny sparkles everywhere. Eventually, the well fills and the disco balls float to the top. Everyone around you is remarking at how beautiful the well looks, and you’re the only one left wondering what the fuck just happened.

Then if you bring up how something was at the bottom, those people will attack you for being ignorant of the wells beauty, and all humanity gains from that well. They’ll tell you, you should be more grateful.

The part that stings the most about Elon to me is the failed potential or his missed opportunity to have been a great man and a true benefit to humanity. Larry Ellison has always, ALWAYS, been a cartoonishly evil fucker. So, when he does evil shit you aren’t shocked. Elon was, on the surface, trying to do things to help humanity progress. Instead, he shit on all of it and threw fuel to the fire that will burn the USA to the ground.

Yeah, no. He never could have been because there never was potential. I keep hearing this and talks about how smart he is and why would he use that for evil.

      No.

The guy is a fucking idiot.

He has a certain charisma, and he is a great scammer, that’s for sure, and he got lucky like hell multiple times, but please stop pretending that this guy who got fired from his own company for incompetence has any abilities or redeeming qualities. He doesn’t. In. A different universe, he simply would have failed at step one and nobody would have known his name.

He is a dumb but lucky lying scam artist, nothing more. Any qualities that people think he has, are just other things he made up and claimed. He claims he’s the world best engineer yet literally every idea that comes from him directly is just too stoopid to even say out loud.

The earlier Tesla’s aren’t his (no he did not found Tesla, that too is a lie) but the cyber truck is his idea and design and that should show the absolute insanity in his head.

I think that’s what they mean by “on the surface”. If he had just kept the cringe quiet and stayed out of politics, he could have pushed the envelope on electric cars, rockets, robots, etc. and a majority of people would have been happy to see him do it. He had two things going for him: enormous wealth and a desire for cool tech.

He could have had as many stupidly named babies as he wanted, seethed about trans people and have time to actually get good at video games, all from the luxury of his many homes and jets. All he had to do was let his PayPal money get to work in his chosen tech industries and keep his personality out of it.

The world might have progressed a little, even. His companies would be better off. Many of us would have bought Teslas. The Cybertruck would never have happened. Twitter would… well, Twitter would still suck but it would be someone else’s fault.

This is exactly what I meant.

I dealt with Elon during the PayPal days. He was a cringey fucker back then too, and we essentially laughed him and his stupid idea out of the building. So, I knew the type of guy he was back before 2015.

Ultimately, Forest Gump’s momma said it best. Stupid is as stupid does. If Elon’s actions pushed forth positive change, it wouldn’t matter how big of a cringey fuck he was.

Do you want to be remembered as dilettante competing in a crowded field who managed to have the right combination of skill and luck?

Do you want to be remembered as the one collosal idiot with a cult of personality, who claimed to work for humanity but only ever dipped us into a kessler syndrome and helped set the conditions for the Bell Riots?

Probably not, because he’s never shown much inclination to do what is right without significant, external, pressure.

That doesn’t mean they weren’t blackmailing him, just that cutting their access is more likely an attempt to be seen to be doing the right thing, rather than doing it becausevit’s right. Basically the direction of the external pressure has changed, and now this is the most advantageous approach for him.

Sure, potentially, that’s an interesting theory but what difference does it make? That doesn’t change his guilt or responsibility. Even if that were the case, being willing to own your mistakes publicly is a perfect antidote to blackmail.

Elon chose instead to try to weaponize the very Epstein files that apparently implicate him, against other people (who are granted also guilty and vile reprehensible individuals, so he gets a pass for that) while trying to convince everyone that he was completely innocent, and, assuming your theory is true, felt protecting his own reputation from the blackmail threat was more important than contributing to the death of over a million people to try to avoid the blackmail. Zero accountability and lies and murder, and we’re supposed to forgive Elon even a little and direct more of the blame to evil Russia instead? I don’t think so. There’s plenty of guilt and responsibility to go around, we don’t need to ration it. Elon is evil, Russia is evil, neither of them have done anything to deserve any sympathy from me. I don’t care what was going on behind the closed doors of those dirty, dirty people, the things they were doing to each other and why are irrelevant factors to me, all I care about is what they were collectively doing to other, innocent people, and that is what I will judge them for.
