Probably sex, for me.

I’d just do it with someone who wasn’t who I originally did it with because she wasn’t great in bed. The entire moment itself was just embarrassing for the both of us, moreso for me because of the time it last for which wasn’t long and just her seemingly doing it to get it out of the way. There was no passion in it, it was just a matter of “oh lets get you not a virgin anymore” deal and I felt it was tainted.

    Cook for my mom.

She was going through a tough time at school and I decided to make something for her because I knew she was exhausted having to cook.

It was the first time I ever cooked something more complex than a fried egg and certainly the first time I tried to make a complete meal.

Looking back, it was pretty simplistic. Daal, stir fried string beans with chicken and normal white rice.

Still, I’ll never forget how happy she looked coming home from school that day.

That’s everyone’s first time, to a greater or lesser degree.

For me, there’s nothing I’d want to do for the first time again. Whatever it would be, I’m better at it now than I was then.

I would set boundaries with my family sooner in life so I wouldn’t have to be this broken husk of an adult.

As a one time only event, as a first and a last, I wish I could go back and change the last words I ever spoke with my late father.

In the hospital bed, he was fussing at me because I told him that I was cleaning trash and old food from his house. I didn’t expect him to fuss, I was only doing the right thing ya know.

He passed away the next morning in hospital. I’m still sad to this day that our final conversation wasn’t more positive ☹️😭

I’d play Xenogears, Chrono Trigger, and Final Fantasy 7. Going in blind was amazing.

My past relationships before my wife. We would have still broken up, but my behavior during those relationships were immature and selfish, especially during the tough times.

I’d also like a redo of school. I didn’t know that I have ADHD and some stuff that typically come with it, like depression, till recently. So I believe if I knew about it back then, my Mom and I would be better prepared.

I’d love to play Control for the first time again. Such an amazing game.

Also, to a lesser extent, I’d love to have my first scuba dive again. It felt so incredible to be in this other world, so close to ours, but so completely different. It still feels that way, but I’ve gotten more accustomed to it.

Ah dude I feel that so much with looking at pond samples under the microscope. It was and still is quite magical, but you can’t beat seeing it for the first time. Just a whole other world right there.

Eve online that first year was one of the most amazing experiences of my life and undocking and flying around that first time is a feeling I would choose to do again.

hey, no kink shaming! Its just one of, not my only, and it gave me my best friends, even after we all quit the game we remain dedicated and close.

I had a really bad day a few months ago, and two of them were ready to get on a plane that afternoon if I had needed it. I dont know of any other game where I could find my people, and that would build a support group, and friend group willing to put everything on hold for each other. So yeah if I could relive the experience of undocking, flying around, and meeting my friends for spreadsheets, shenanigans, and space ships I would.

So many amazing memories, staying up too late, getting a text message to drop everything and log in, fleet battles with nothing but silent professionalism on voice, logging into the test server and spending hours on meta tactics and ship loadouts, drunken ice mining in low sec, 5 person frigate gangs ransoming capital ships. That game, and that time had something special for all of us.

    Read Ender’s Game.

The first two thirds of that book took me at least a month to read. Somewhere around the last third I couldn’t put it down and kept reading until the end. By then it was 4 AM and I got only a couple of hours of sleep, but it was worth it. Needless to say, it’s not the same thrill when you already know how it ends.

BTW: absolutely do not watch the movie before reading the book. It’s much worse but still spoils the story. You’ll rob yourself of the first read.

A friend of mine in highschool loaned me his copy in my 4th period biology class, and I finished it around 2am that night.

He told me not to read the sequels and I didn’t listen, lol, but years later the Ender’s Shadow series was closer to what I wanted.

I liked Speaker for the Dead! I can’t remember what it was about but I remember liking it.

A very different book from Ender’s Game though.
