IIRC this was by design. They’ve got a fairly short lifespan (only a couple years i think?) before they fall.

A windowless room in the upper floors of a military air terminal. NASA interns left beer in the fridge somewhere else up there IIRC. Kinda boring tbh.

Strangely its also the most comfortable room atmosphere I’ve been in. Literally just folding tables and chairs, but there was lots of hardwood trim.

It runs an HDMI cable to a TV instead of relying on a crappy abandonware TV OS.

I mean… that worked fine for teenage me with a DSI.

Take the fun electives in school, there’s no guarantee it’ll still be there next year and graduation requirements may change in your last year.

I second this. I’ve had mine for years, that little tool roll has got all you really need to pry open laptops, desktops, and most electronics other than phones and tablets.

I’ve got a Latitude XT2. some of the plastic bits aged badly and developed a sort of weird film, including the charger brick; if you’ve had the same problem, I scrubbed the hell out of those specific parts with goo-gone and a microfiber cloth and its smooth and shiny again.

I think its an outdated concept to allow time for communication to reach all forces? Doesn’t really work in the modern world.

shrug i cook for myself because it generally tastes better than a good 80% of restaurants in my area, usually for less money. My finances are (thankfully) not so tight that I’m calculating how much it costs to keep an oven on for 30 minutes.

The newer ones don’t have the weird gel keyboard, they’re pretty sweet.

I do not trust that the current US government is smart enough to not try to sick ICE on them.
