I’d rather Iran be killing soldiers than innocent too, but I understand why people can’t get but feel this way at this point. There’s been literally zero justice against Israel, and it’s so extreme what they’ve gotten away with, that I fully understand the schnaudenfreude many will be feeling at seeing Israel seeing any form of repercussions at this point.
That a overwhelming majority of the population isn’t strongly against their government doesn’t help either.
So while you do have a point, it would kind of be like trying to shame lgbtq+ people for being happy an apartment in Berlin got bombed during WW2… Especially considering we are essentially in WW3, in great part started by Israel, who is also currently trying another genocide run in Lebanon now.
