    I don’t think gravel is naturally occuring is it?

    …we have places that are rocky, even stoney beaches, but those stones tend to be round and smooth because of how they got there.

    I guess in certain types of rock avalanches some gravel must be produced, but I don’t think that’s in a patch on an otherwise flat surface.

      The left bank of the Geronde river in Bordeaux is famous for its gravelly soil which impacts the flavor of the wine.

      Edit: autocorrect never understands the difference between its and it’s.

      Huh? Not naturally occurring? What? Stones can be as round as they want, it is still gravel. For gravel pretty much only the particle size matters.

        Oh, I think of it as rough and pointy… Like a bunch of smooth pebbles isn’t exactly going to cause Thag a problem in this comic right? So to me the comic is also suggesting gravel is rough and pointy small rocks.
