It’s completely accepted that his family aren’t liberals. If the left were only born into LW families it would be going extinct due to low birthrates. It is consistently shown that each younger generation is more left leaning than the last. Even gen Z who are sometimes suggested as being more conservative only show this if you select a small age range of that generation
