I agree police should never be able to withhold body cam footage, but people should absolutely be able to request body cam footage of themselves be withheld. He was convicted of the DUI and received legal penalties for it. Why does the shame game need to be played too? That wasn’t part of his sentence. For your own enjoyment? How does releasing this footage benefit society other than us getting to laugh at him all over again?

I remember a story his nephew told about bringing his developmentally disabled son (can’t remember the exact condition) to the White House and having multiple meetings with Trump about setting up a bill that would benefit Americans, including his own great-nephew. In one of those meetings, after it had all seemed positive, everyone left the room but Trump and his nephew, to whom Trump immediately said “be a lot easier and less expensive if all these disabled kids would just die”.
His ego is his only compass, and he has tied the stock market to his ego. War and Hormuz being closed will hit the stock market. He may well want to back down when that happens, and find himself unable to.
I’m not a “vote blue no matter who” person and nobody is advocating that. I am talking about one election in which there was a specific choice and you made a bad one. In the future, I hope we have better choices, and I’ll do whatever I can to advocate for candidates who want to fundamentally restructure our systems.
