I think they’re already doing that.
I think they’re already doing that.
Is this retaliation for TSMC not wanting to buy Intels fabs?
Except they’ve literally just blown up all the bridges that connect the north to the south. Sounds more like they’re isolating further rather than considering an offensive
Only if they try more modern tactics. If they’re just being plugged in to Russian command it’s just more meat for the meat grinder. Which makes sense because Russians play book has usually been “overwhelm with warm bodies”
Funny enough, I’m the opposite. You’ve seen a few different countrysides you’ve seen them all. But cities are bustling, vibrant and unique with all different cultures coming together, and Hong Kong (like you said about New York) was at the top of them. I’m really disappointed about how you describe Shenzhen because that’s my worry that will happen to Hong Kong
I want to go back to Hong Kong so badly, and then I keep seeing shit like this which reminds me I never want to visit China.
What are they expecting? “Oh, we’re off the list now? Yeah, we cool.”
So let me get this straight. They are executing a military operation in a sovereign nation… without permission?
in the facility where the animals live and faced annual costs of 1.5 million euros for their upkeep, including a preservation fee paid to China
That’s straight from the Reuters article. It mentions it includes a fee
Fun fact. The reason why some spiders curl up like that are their legs are actually controlled by blood pressure, they don’t have any specific rigid parts and when they die the pressure drops and it causes them to curl up like that.
One note in there was “including a preservation fee paid to China”. It doesn’t say how much of the €1.5 million a year amount was that cost though.
It’s legal but there’s a criminal investigation?
Russia mistook India’s desire to buy oil as an implicit supportive relationship. India is just being opportunistic and attempting to buy things for cheap and sell products where they can.
There’s also restaurants and other shops that won’t even serve foreigners, even if you’ve lived there for years and speak the language
This is the first far side joke I haven’t gotten. Can someone help me out?
Seriously, short of a nuke, how much can he actually escalate? He’s basically thrown what he can at them without risking any other front. This is an empty threat.
And before anyone has anything smart ass to say, make it any 30% of the country you like…
I am seriously asking, was this what the reaction was like in Nazi Germany too? We are literally watching a systematic genocide and torture of an entire group of people and most of the world is doing nothing.
I thought I heard somewhere that there was a similar parallel back then where as long as it occurred in their country that most everyone else ignored it. It was only when they attempted to expand that there was a larger war?
And then they’ll “accidentally” carpet bomb the whole area and say Hamas was hiding there.
Oooh… condem. Is that one step up or down from a “harshly worded response”? How about actually doing more?
