I seriously applaud whoever managed to push that through.
I don’t support anything they do, but that is top tier comedy.

Long story short: The Finnish defence ministry run background checks on anyone from outside the EU and EEA if they’re trying to buy property. They regularly block Russians from buying properties. And this was suspected as another attempt, through a proxy.
The buyer didn’t speak Finnish or English, has basically no connection to Finland, inconsistent buisness plan, has potential connections to Russia and wanted to buy a petrol station in eastern Finland, in an area that’s about to get a new NATO base.
Meanwhile, most international media:
Why do you hate people only because of their religion/ethinicity!?!!?!!=)!)=!(/GCUV/UO&Vuvfb38hndjdndnds
He’s not going to announce that he had backup organs made for himself.
Why are all the comments defending him having money? The article has nothing about that, and the “luxury” part of the article isn’t about his wealth. It’s about a fancy resort not being secure. And “safari lodge” does not mean “hunting lodge”
Are there tons of hidden comments I’m missing? Are people preemptively assuming comments will complain? Or is everyone’s reading comprehension that bad?
Russia uses Tu-95’s to launch cruise missiles. This is from late March:
It was later revealed that 11 Tu-95MS bombers fired 29 cruise missiles of the Kh-101/Kh-555 type at Ukraine.

This is incredible. How do hate-filled people like these sleep at night?
The same way most hateful people do: They tell themselves over and over that “everyone” agrees with them.
No, he does. It’s just that most of the schools will have a single facility, which is an empty office in a business park.
No, people who commonly do bad things, will often justify it to themselves and others by thinking most people do the same thing. And despite their loud protesting and arguing, they’re pretty much always wrong.
I’ve heard more than one petty thief confidently claim that “everyone” steals something like a candybar when they go to the store. And it’s why there are so many stories of cheaters accusing their partner of cheating.
It’s an age thing.
Most higher level government officials tend to be around boomer age. And over their lifetime they’ve grown to trust traditional-media more than almost anything. And these days the most major outlets are focused eniterly on revenue, so most of them heavily self-censor.
You’d be shocked at how many people in their 60s literally do not know a fraction of what has been going on there.
This is a great demonstration of how disinformation agents work.
There are multiple of sources, a full documentary, interviews with the creators, the agent is named. etc. And most of the top comments on the posts about this, are from troll farms out of Russia talking about how the source is bad, how it’s just gossip, no one is named, etc. and generally just lying to discredit the story.
No, and the electrical outlets really don’t help.
I’m genuinely confused about the use cases you all seem to have. When are you sitting in a field on your phone trying desperately to convert a .avi to a .mkv?
I worked IT for a newspaper back when they were more relevant. The satelite offices and in-field work had a surprising amount of problems like that.
Different use cases.
It’s not like your uploading and downloading gigabytes to it to use ffmpeg. For that you use something local. This is for converting smaller files conveniently. For example from a laptop and you don’t want to use a public converter that might keep the content.
If you regularly convert certain file types on a computer, dedicated programs tend to be better than these combo ones anyway.
They’re literally just waiting for their Kristallnacht, so they feel safe enough to do it openly.
Yes, language matters and they used it correctly here. As an intransitive verb it means that someone is not detectable. As a transitive verb it means that someone else made them disappear, which usually refers to being abducted, usually by an official group like an arm of the government.
It has been used that way for decades to indicate when a governement kidnaps citizens to detain or kill them in secret.
Competent being the key word in that sentence, and not an accurate one based on the last few years of intel.
Flash can easily run fast enough to observe the movement of lightning(he can technically go FTL and time travel)
He has some comic-type dimension he taps into, to avoid pesky things like physics. So he could probably launch himself out into space. Although most versions can’t run if he can’t step on something. So he’d be screwed.
Even when narcissists get embarrassed, they just get angry and blame everyone else for causing the issue. Because in their mind they can do no wrong.
Yeah, he seems narcissistic enough that he really doesn’t think there would be consequences.
Hopefully there are other people around him who doesn’t want the rest of the world aiming everything they have at them.
