Should the DNC have run a better candidate? Yes!

Was Harris a dream president? No!

Would she have been better than Trump? Undoubtedly!

Should people have voted for her? Yes, if you oppose Trump’s fascism. But no, if you don’t really care about your fellow citizens who may be at risk for deportation/prosecution/dehumanization.

Harris and the DNC would’ve been a bit more amenable to the popular opinion than trump and the GQP have ever been. So after her election, people could have protested in Washington dc against Israel’s genocide and have found a listening ear in Congress.

You shouldn’t base your presidential vote purely on one single issue. Especially not if it’s a foreign affairs issue, which is what the Israeli genocide in Palestine is. You need to look at the much broader picture. Look at the other policies and ideas that both candidates have.

We knew about trumps desire to hurt his political enemies, we knew about his hatred for trans people, we knew about his desire to deport immigrant, before he got elected. So you could have based your vote on that.

That sounds like a great solution to my current frustration that the autobackup feature of Immich on iOS is so opaque. It only works when the app is open and even then oftentimes you’re just staring at the backup screen while seemingly nothing is happening, despite Immich’s backlog of thousands of photos still needing to be uploaded.

They’ve been saying this for a year now.

Apparently I have a database issue. It tries two photos and both fail with a foreign key error and then the process stops. I had deleted both photos it initially complained about, but then it complained about the next two. I fear I’m going to have to reinstall.

I think I’m going to reinstall. This issue is over my paygrade.

Ever since the upgrade to 2.0 I’ve been unable to sync the photos on my phone. “Sync failed, cannot process backup” and I don’t know why.
