Cuz a Nazi gave it to him.

I’m a world where laws mattered those words would haunt him all the way to the gallows.

The odds of you being killed by a snail are low… but never zero. And when it inevitably happens, there’s no way to prove that it was intentional, that it was retribution for your crimes against this snail’s entire bloodline… but I’ll know.

Just remember that with challenges like that, the main purpose is to guage your problem solving skills. You don’t necessarily have to complete the challenge in time, don’t necessarily have to make it work error free, etc. They want to see how you work through it all. Don’t get me wrong, if you ace the challenge, that’s great. But they mostly want to make sure you have the fundamentals and skills to comprehend the problem and work through to a solution.
So A) depending on the state or country’s age of consent and/or Romeo-juliet exceptions, their may or may not be anything legally disallowed by a 16 year old dating and being sexually active with a 19 year old or older.
B) It certainly doesn’t get more morally wrong in your situation where you’re already seeing someone 3 years older than you, as you get older. That difference only becomes less significant as you age.
C) If the age of consent or Romeo-juliet laws do not make a carve out for your situation, and you were dating and sexually active when they were 17 then likely your partner would’ve already been breaking the law before they were an adult. The difference now is that they’d be tried as an adult if they were to be charged.
D) As for the question, is there actually anything wrong with it. In the vast majority of cases, yes, there is something wrong about it, objectively. But also, it’s not necessarily a big problem in the end, sometimws. The problem comes down to three things. 1) Generally speaking, people your age lack real world insight into adulthood and adult relationships and struggle to make mature, rational, long-term-thinking decisions without the overwhelming power of novelty and emotion that comes with young love. I don’t say that to be insulting, just call it the wisdom of hindsight. We were all, to some degree, still kids at your age, and made stupid decisions that many of us regret. That is something an older partner should be cognizant of too, when they are receiving your consent to sexual acts, that your lack of experience means you may not fully appreciate what you are consenting to. 2) Even if you are mature, understand your decisions, and consent with the full understanding and appreciation of what that consent means, the relationship will almost necessarily have an unhealthy imbalance. They being adults typically means that they have more money, more freedom, and more control over the relationship. Truly healthy adult relationships are a partnership been coequal people. 16 year olds are still kids and typically still the responsibility of parents or guardians, still in school, still responsible only for a small fraction of their own care. And many at that age see older partners as a way to jump the line and soup ahead to becoming adults early, but it doesn’t work like that. 3) Even if it is legal, there is a stigma (and not a wholly unjustified one) that your partner will face that you will not. And if it’s not legal, there’s an even huger risk to your partner, losing their freedom, having their name in a sec offense registry, struggling to find homes or jobs, that again, you don’t face. That’s not fair and it’s simply not a good idea and it’s a risk to both partners.
But like I said, it’s not necessarily all that bad. It could be legal, mature, fully consentual, coequal, and neither partner suffers due to the relationship. And it can workout long term. But I do gotta warn you, that is definitely not the norm.

“Oh well, then there is no pleashing you.”

Gonna be as isolated at North Korea by the end of this administration. As trusted too.

Was wondering myself. I’m worried we’ve done the same thing to these bugs that we did to bacterial pathogens with antibiotics. I.e. we found a REALLY powerful weapon, used it enough to massively alter the survival pressures of the species, but not enough to eradicate it entirely until they just genetically adapt around that new pressure. If some genetic lines of the species were more inclined to radiation resistance or to altered reproduction patterns/sexual selection, then those became the only genetic lines that can propogate. Would be slow at first, but exponential growth is a bitch. There is a finite window of generations to wipe them all out before they’re all replaced by the more resistant genetic lines. Super bugs.

Get fucked Trump

We didn’t distinguish “good” Germans from bad Germans during WWII,
Yes, the fuck we did.
and we don’t distinguish “good” Russians from bad Russians.
Yes the fuck we do.
This is the mentality that leads to war crimes.

That’s an unhinged stance. People that bought a car without knowing what Elon was or would become are not morally responsible for enabling him. Intent matters. Most of them, im sure, just wanted an electric vehicle… the end. They do not deserve to be punished for Musk and Trump’s evils.

This… might actually be an improvement. Okay, hear me out. The film industry has been overloaded lately with over-bloated budgets for CG light shows with little substance, narrative, or character appeal. A BIG part of the reason for that is because for the last decade or two Hollywood has been making as much or more money from the Chinese box office as they do the US. As such, they have prioritized the lowest common denominator between what will sell between both countries. That stuff that sells is visual effects, action, basic stories, simple characters, and non-politically or culturally challenging content that will be censored.
This has SEVERELY limited film making and resulted in a lot of samey uninteresting stuff coming out in theatre’s for years now. It has killed witty comedies that do not transcend culture or language well. It has killed divisive narratives that wouldn’t get the Chinese government’s approval. It has dumbed down stories and killed nuance so that that audiences don’t need cultural context to understand them.
If studios no longer think they can make money hand over foot off the Chinese box office with another cgi robot movie or some such shlock, they may make more unique, smaller budget films with more complex characters, better humor, counter-cultural aspects, challenging narratives, and minimal CGI. They can stop exclusively farming all the existing globally recognizable IP to rehash the same stories over and over with updated visuals. They can revitalize an industry that sorely needs it.

I miss those… what, 2 months(?) that he wasn’t in the news cycle.

At best, world leaders may be trying to salvage their current investments in the US and trade sources in the short term. But they are also immediately starting the process to divest from the US, maybe permanently. He may get a short term gain from a handful of countries, but is tanking us long term as everyone distances themselves from us.
Trade, investments, debts, these things bind countries together and promote better economies the world-wide. The point of Tariffs are to reduce or eliminate these connections to other countries in the effected markets, to isolate and insulate your domestic market from the international market at large. When you put a blanket tariff on all markets on all countries, especially when openly trying to use those as extortion tactics against other countries, you are guaranteeing this isolation. We are well on the way from being isolated from the world, like North Korea, all because of one man without any sense, decency, or limitations. We are fucked.

Myself? Welp… grabs mall katana… wish me luck.
Edit: the /s was implied, NSA. Calm down.

The difference is Isreal is mostly only a danger to Gaza or starting a war with Iran. Trump is threatening other sovereign states with invasion and annexation, and destabilizing the economies of global powers. It’s not a moral/humanitarian concern which tends to get mixed responses from global powers. It’'s a self-interest concern or matter of survival for a lot of powerful countries which tends to get a more direct response.

First of all, fuck you, figure it out. Second of all, if that were the case, that means you are literally sentencing people to life imprisonment without chance of parole with absolutely no due process at all. That goes even beyond what the (unconstitutional) Alien Enemies Act allows. Far beyond. For the love of God, make this shit stop.
I can’t wait until Trump pisses off the world enough that they fight back and he is eventually tried for his crimes against humanity. I can’t wait to shit on your grave you evil fuck.

People give the moron too much credit as a strategic manipulator. He’s not that coy. If he says something, it is because he has no filter and he was genuinely thinking it. His people might talk him out of it (or distract him away from it after the fact), or his aging addled mind wanders off to other things, and only then will it have been a “masterful ploy” to misdirect, or rile up the libs, or gain compliance through threats, etc. Every stupid and evil thing he has said aloud, he meant wholeheartedly at that moment. The problem is he may or may not decide to have follow through on it later, so you don’t know if you should react to it. But if he said something threatening, it is a threat. It isn’t necessarily a threat that will be acted upon. But it absolutely is still a meaningful and serious threat.
A Dane invading and pillaging… I’ve heard this one before.
Do it. Embrace your Viking ancestry.
