both the Lovense Edge 2 you use and an egg I’m thinking about buying have a non detachable battery built in, meaning when the battery dies you’ll have to buy a new toy or either open it to change the battery, which I’m assuming would be a hassle.
You say you’ve been using this toy for 2 years now. Any problems with the battery so far?
What practices do you follow to maximize battery life?
planned obsolescence even here…

The Edge 2, and I presume their other vibrators, have a proprietary charging connection. It’s essentially just two metal contacts and a cable with a relatively weak magnet attached
I see it, 2 unprotected metal contacts. No corrosion so far? No charging problems due to defective contact?
The nice thing about silicone dildos is that you can basically just boil them for a deep clean, but I’d this for electronic ones, waterproof or not.
I don’t know if you’re telling me to boil silicone toys with electronics and motors inside of them or not to boil them.

all of the eggs I linked have a tail. Do you know how flexible is this part? Can it be bent 180 degrees?

the toy I want to buy sells now for 30 EUR. Original price was 120 EUR, which is a huge discount.
If this toy is as great as advertised, why are they selling it at a so steep discount? Something’s not right.
Could I be buying a used toy?
This model doesn’t have any reviews afaik.
