Here is my understanding of that tiny grain of truth to that “conspiracy theory”:
The earliest known use of the Sign of the horns (and the source of that name) is the “occult rock” band Coven, and specifically lead singer Jinx Dawson. There is at least one photograph of her dated from 1967 displaying the Sign of the horns.
A lot of rock and heavy metal bands went with satanic or occult aesthetics but made it clear it was performance art, especially during the various moral panics. Coven didn’t. I’m not going to definitively say the members are or were Satan worshippers, but I would say they walked the walk more convincingly than the KISSes and Black Sabbaths of the world. Their first album titled Witchcraft Destroys Minds & Reaps Souls included a poster showing the band’s members performing a “satanic ritual” throwing up the horns around Jinx lying naked on an altar.
So that’s where the bible thumpers probably got the idea from.

Here’s what I think I’m remembering right from a video I saw a couple months ago:
Ukraine currently has a fleet of aging MiGs which they’ve improvised ways of using some NATO munitions on. One of which is the HARM anti-radiation (anti-radar, basically) missile. Again if I understand this right, when used on their MiGs the HARM missile can only be used in one or two of several modes it has, where an all NATO F-16 can use all modes of the missile.
Also, they have more total jets now, so they’ve got that going for them, which is nice.
Yeah that would worry me, plugging a power source into a wall socket.
I would much rather build an independent little cart with panels and a battery and a charge controller and an inverter and use it the way you would a generator. I would rather pay the power company full price to run my refrigerator and nothing at all to recharge my lawnmower than 98.3% for both.
A dozen buffalo wings and a pound of french fries from Chilis’ It’s Just Wings app are within a dollar of a medium chicken sandwich combo at Burger King. Can’t tell you what prices are doing at McDonald’s because I haven’t tried eating McDonald’s in a year, their service is too terrible.
