The Phillipines needs to put down a few sea mines with Phillipine flags on top. Nobody would be stupid enough to run those over.

Russia has kinda shitty land afaik. Not a ton of resources either, iirc. I believe a decent chunk of it is tagia forests and (soon to be) swampy permafrost zone. Not that much of china’s land is great for stuff like farming either. Bragging rights, I guess, but other than the people, I think most land is of little use.
Neither was great, as written about by David K. Johnson in The Lavender Scare: The Cold War Persecution of Gays and Lesbians in the Federal Government. That said, having read much about this time period and the history of the early gay rights movement in the US, I would pick the US any day of the week over the nonexistent gay rights movement in Russia and many other communist countries, who still give people like me the cold shoulder.
Still, forming a gay civil rights group in 1948 was a progressive step in the right direction (the Mattachine Society), and the leaders paved the way for the more well known gay rights movement in the 1970s. They walked so our ancestors could run.
Bro, there are people in a local groupchat that think the great leap forward was a good thing and are self-proclaimed history buffs obsessed with the years 1939-1945, specifically in Russia and China.
They harken back to it as a better time, not realizing the irony of it while being a queer American. It’s exquisitely painful to watch 💀
Andrey Gurulyov, a Russian lawmaker and retired major general, said in a televised interview in Russia on August 8 that the country’s military knew about Ukraine’s plans to attack Kursk a month before it happened.
“But from the top came the order not to panic, and that those above know better,” Gurulyov said, according to a translation by The New York Times.
“So we staffed it with the greenest of recruits, and left it practically defenseless!”
Lmao, I’m sure they knew. Riiiiight xD
Sounds like the Philippine ships need some reactive armor in case the Chinese coast guard have additional difficulties steering their ships in a controlled fashion. The Chinese and Russian air force and navies seem to have considerable issues with avoiding collisions.
Good! I hope to see Ukrainian and western armor rolling through Moscow. Fuck the russian government.
Rybar, a Russian military blogger, said Ukraine’s tactics were to use its armoured vehicles to head towards Russian positions and use a third of them to tie down the defenders while the rest were “bypassing it, entering nearby settlements and setting up ambushes”.
If I were the Ukrainians, I’d send more reinforcements and keep the beachhead up. Russia can have their land back when they give back the parts of Ukraine they illegally annexed in 2014 and 2021.
I hope we give them as many as they need to beat back Russia. And any other weapons they need. Fuck russia.
Reminds me of Black Mesa, haha.
