  • Yeah lol… who the hell wants a nuclear power plant near their house?

Is it that hard to understand that people don’t want shit like nuclear power plants, coal plants, methane plants and garbage disposals being newly built near their home?

I live in one of the most crowded countries on earth and even here we have plenty of space where a powerplant wouldn’t be anywhere near a suburb. Or at least in a place where there is already a similar power plant/industry.

Obviously it’s a different situation if you build houses near a power plant that has been there for years.

  • Yeah. The countries that can choose to not do trade with America and not suffer too much because of it.

That’s basically Trumps politics, making people suffer. Imagine voting for someone just because you want others to have it worse than you do. Like there is nothing to gain and everyone loses.

It’s not even stupidity, it just pure hatred and disdain for other people that fuels MAGA.

“Some of you might die, but that’s the price I’m willing to pay for it”. Literally Shrek-like cartoon villainy.

  • The rest of the world is not USA my man, my country has at least 10 political parties that go anywhere from progressive to conservative and being “right wing” can still mean they have ideas that support the environment or human rights.

We’re not all like the USA where you can choose between “the right” and the “ultra right” wing party.

There are right wing parties here that support Gretas ideas. And left wing parties that disagree with her.

I can completely understand her “both sides are bad” point since politics are wildly different in the EU from the US. We have actually choice here where as the US is just voting for the lesser evil (or the greater evil in case of Trump lol).
