2 years agoWouldn’t be surprised if the (mostly) political right that seems all these new pronouns as stupid would also ironically be against giving up on their own gender specific pronoun for a gender neutral one.

We don’t need more pronouns. We need less of them.
In my native language there is no even he/she pronouns. The word is “hän” and it’s gender neutral. You can be male, female, FTM, MTF, non-binary or what ever and you’re still called “hän”. You can identify as anything you like and “hän” already includes you.
0·2 years agoI’m not sure about who this article is criticizing exactly. It’s not like we don’t know about the sunken boat - we do. It’s just not as interesting as a lost submarine.
If there was a kid lost in the atlantic on a inflatable unicorn nobody would be talking about the submarine. That’s how our attention works. 5 people is more interesting that 200 people and 1 person is more interesting than five.
I have no idea what you’re on about or how this reply in any way relates to what I said.
