But really though I have a fast pace, my normal walking speed is like 3+ mph, I do slow down. But even slowing down I walk a bit faster than her.

See, when my wife starts to walk too slow I usually just grumble a bunch, then take everything she had with her, grab her hand, then tow her along.

That way she gets some help going faster, I know when I’m going too fast and can slow down, so when we finally get to the mountain top it’s easier to throw her off instead of having to chase her while she runs away screaming for help…

I have always wondered how bad sanctions against us (US) would be if we didn’t specifically position ourselves right into the middle of being able to just say no to all of it.

My assumption is that since magically every single drone without fail was shot down and they masterfully saved the mansion from this devastating attack is that… Russia sent the drones themselves at the mansion so they could shoot them down and blame Ukraine for attacking “civilian” targets, because Russia would never attack civvies.

If anyone was still paying attention, she was eating the rice and chicken pretty well, them about three days back she just refused to eat anything at all.

She passed away last night.

Steamed chicken and rice with beans was the meal today

I landed on white rice, chicken breast and black beans with a tablespoon or two of just vegetable oil for a fat. Figured it was a fairly balanced carb/protein/lipid mixture in addition to whatever dry food I mix into it. Zero salt added, she is munching away currently. Next time I get to the store I will get some low sodium broth to mix into the rice and beans while they cook to soak it up.

She has cancer actually, on her neck but the vet wasn’t confident on the operation success with its location and her age, so she has kind of just been dealing with it for the last year. I am sure it is a major factor in addition to just being old.

Good call, not sure why I didn’t think about soup over water for soaking.

Vet has looked at her a number of times, they gave her an appetite booster even which got her eating for about a day. So far as they can tell she is healthy, but old.

I’m surprised Ukraine and Russia didn’t get together at the start of the war to decide who was skins and who was shirts so they knew what team was what. Would have been easier for the NKs to remember which white person was the bad one.
