Comprador capitalism, famously flexible and resilient system

I am not aware of instances but there are communities: /c/china@lemmygrad.ml and /c/sino@hexbear.net, those are communist though so if you want to gusanopost there, better pass.

Klingon or Quenya, both sounds like music (just of different genres)
A size of tank, smaller than normal tank, but bigger than tankette.

No, it was later improved by using different materials, better tools to make it and hardening it with fire.

Same was about photography, computer graphics etc. I bet even clay tablets and sculptures were bashed at some point because they werent real art, unlike cave wall paintings.

I don’t give a shit either way, fuck copyrights.

Corporation takeovers. From what i could find, the most expensive ever was 1999 takeover of Mannesmann by Vodafone Airtouch plc at $183 billion ($334.7 billion in 2024 dollars).
Fun fact, in 193 CE Didius Iulianus bought the Roman Empire (or more accurately the emperor position) for roughly 1 671 480 000 dollars. Very roughly since we don’t exactly know how many praetorians there were so you might cut that number by half, and the calculation is by silver price. Also, he was soon murdered by the same people who murdered his predecessor and sold him the empire when someone with an army and know how to use it shown up (Septimius Severus). Alas.
Most expensive single thing ever would be ISS at over 150 billion.

Someone with “Lenin” in the nickname should not ask this question because it is obvious commies will confiscate all the toothbrushes.
No. I do absolutely support Khrushchev sending tanks to Hungary (very rare Khrushchev W), but i’m not British.

I see that clearly when i buy products from Aliexpress or Temu and shops in Poland are full of literally the same items but 3-5 times the price. Hell some of the internet shops openly does the thing that you buys something and only then they order it in China for you but you still pay 3-5 times the price.
FTFY and yes
