I’m begging for Americans to do something against Trump. You can’t just let someone who’s so blatantly under Putin’s thumb destroy everything.

One thing I’d like to add: based only really works with things that are at least vaguely political or controversial, it’s not just a drop-in for “cool” (and it’s also used ironically a lot)

I just find it very funny that when someone knows about the attack that’s all over European news your first assumption is “chronically online”
