Sure but there are just some things you can’t run over ipv6
Oh lordy, please tell me it’s at least not humid in there?
While I agree, these laws aren’t being made because smokers keep accidentally smoking near others, it’s because a large number of smokers can’t be assed to keep their distance. The major place I notice smokers is when they are just meandering through a large crowd as if everyone around them is fine with the smoke.
The issue with smoking is the second hand smoke. It causes cancer, among many other health issues. Vape on the other hand doesn’t really have this same concern.
They aren’t banning smoking because of nicotine, they are banning it because it causes cancer.
Do you often spill drinks into the mouths of passerby’s?
The issue isn’t the substance, it’s the second hand smoke. Children are smart enough to know “this is a thing my parents do that I can’t” but no level of smart can keep the air they breath from containing smoke.
I was digging around and it seems there are some iffy api translators for duck.ai such as https://github.com/HuggingBear/DuckDuckGo-AI
But I’ve not tried this yet, so no idea how it works.
Ngl I really wish there was a decent way to hook into third party “offerings” like duck.ai. I don’t have the spare GPUs to run anything at any kind of decent speed.
I’d say plex is up there. “Want to use your hardware and bandwidth to view your own files? Pay us!”
This is unhelpful. This is advice along the lines of “You broke your leg? Maybe try not breaking it next time.”
“We” threw 2 million dollars at the problem and pretended that was just as helpful as sending actual aid, as had been done in the past.
I could expose my IP, I was previously and really don’t have a problem with it. My IP is fairly static. It’s just more convenient to use cloudflared internal to the network and proxy the addresses.
If I can’t figure out an automated solution for this, that’s likely what I’ll do. I’m just hopeful there’s a tool out there to do this that I’m just not familiar with.
Thanks for the response regardless, I appreciate you taking the time!
I’d be fine with individual certs, the issue I’m running into is that a cloudflare proxy record requires a cert for that multi level subdomain, and they won’t handle that cert without you paying them. You can, however, upload your own cert for it.
I’m trying to find a way to automate that process, since remembering to update a cert manually every 3 months is outside my ability.
They were talking about matrix itself, not a specific option. And I’m not going to lie, having to hand hold your servers federation choices seems like a hassle. At that point why not just use a self hosted, non federated option?
Oooo thank you for this. I already use Calibre but their web offering is imho kinda bad. This looks like it’s pretty much a drop in solution to my problem. If I throw it behind a zero trust page I can even open it up to the open internet.
Thank you for this!
What I really want is a a similar project for epub files. I’ve not been able to find a web based library that allows easy download and auth based management.

<.< What are the cartels trying to intimidate you for?
That’s fair, though if you’re concerned to that degree I’d say a rando hosting it would be a silly move. That said, I realize that was a joke. ;P
