Around 2004, I bought a pin from a random street vendor that said “We are all Palestinian” because I was a dumbass teenager and it seemed sage with high potential to be edgy. Later, out of fear someone would ask me what the pin meant, I started reading about the situation. I was looking up some history timeline stuff just now and noticed 2010 was the year Hellen Thomas was fired for saying Israel should get the hell out Palestine. Coincidence or no?

In our guest house, whenever the laundry machine ran, half the lights would go out. It was due to the drain hose having a small leak. The water seeped down and shorted an outlet in the crawl space. So I had to:

• fix the drain hose
• replace the main water disconnect valve that randomly wore out and got stuck in the off position (learn about pex, buy and use a crimper tool)
• replace some rotten wood
• replace shorted outlet with GCFI
• replace crawl space skirting I broke when investigating

Ah, good times. But now it’s all fixed. For now.

Even if “relocation” means shuffling off this mortal coil

• frigate (local foss security cam mgmt)
• metube (web gui for yt-dlp)
• technitium (dns mgmt with adblocking and many other features that make it better than pihole imo)
• pdfDing (foss for pdf library mgmt)
• netbird (in lieu of ddns, I use this self hosted vpn to connect to stuff when I’m not local)
• caddy (maybe similar to ngnx, this lets me use custom names so I don’t have to remember ip/ports to connect)
• heimdall (simple static dashboard)

If I were him, I’d get the last laugh and demand to be buried in a secondhand plain white shirt from Goodwill
