Just some dude from central Europe. 🇸🇰

Linux is better.
Steam Play works great if you have stable Internet.
AFAIK Tailscale has an option to expose certain ports to the internet.
No, you don’t. Use Tailscale to expose your blog.
The future is federated.
Tailscale. You don’t need to open up ports + you can set up exit nodes, which are useful if you’re sailing the seven seas.
Why would you expose anything to the internet when you got Tailscale?
What about switching to Jellyfin?
Tailscale is a mesh VPN. And is this made in Obsidian?
There’s Nginx proxy manager if you want to set it up. But I’d rather go with Tailscale instead.
Basically none. Grab whatever device you have on hand and install Docker on it.
It’s the platform that runs all of your services in containers. This means they are separated from your system.
Also what are other services that might be interesting to self host in The future?
Nextcloud, the Arr stack, your future app, etc etc.
Headscale exists
Matrix is the way. It’s federated and you can have your own server.
Obsidian with synchronization to my Nextcloud instance
Not something so complex that it requires a docker
Docker is the thing that sandboxes your services from the host OS. I’d rather use Podman because of the true non-root mode, but Docker is still based. Plus, you can use Docker Swarm if you don’t want to switch to Kubernetes (though you don’t have easy storage integration for persistence).
Buy a VPS, set up Nextcloud and try it that way.
Alright then. I’d recommend Nextcloud.
Might be worse than Spotify when it comes to privacy but YT Music with Adblock is great. And AFAIK they have better music quality.
