HOT TUB TIME MACHINE!
Previews and premise made it look like it would be stupid, but that movie is pure gold. I’ve never been able to understand how such an entertaining movie had such a low rotten tomato score. So much great stuff is going on.
Only took 11 years…
Aight, Canada. Now you owe us!
Should we make it about a religion that’s known for pedophile priests and them being protected? Or about how religion is a long con scam of power and wealth that has been the leading cause of war and persecution for centuries upon centuries?
Granted, by all appearances, I believe he seemed to be a pretty good guy. Hopefully the next pope will be as good. Take what you can while religions still exist, I suppose.
Wow. The prison is named Cecot. I just read a few articles on it. That place is fucked up. Was built for 20,000 people, but capacity then doubled. Like 80 people to a cell with no sheets or pillows on all metal beds. A bucket of water in each cell to drink. You eat (no meat ever served) in your crowded cell that has no chairs and the lights stay on 24/7 and you only get out of your cell 30 minutes a day. The country more or less eliminated due process a few years back. No inmates are allowed visitors or phone calls or letters. Also, no books or games or playing cards or anything that could provide any sort of entertainment. If you’re supposed to go before a judge it’s done over video conference call. Lot of other fucked up shit, too.
The US paid El Salvador $6,000,000 to take the 240ish people there. Like $25,000 a person.
I can’t even keep track of which positions have the dumbest trump appointments. They’re pretty much everywhere at this point.
Bitching out on naming the ship Boaty McBoatface is the real reason Brexit happened.
Like they just lie on the Gallup poll calls so they seem less suicidal?
I believe the article mentioned it was only stopping troop transports. Not all ships.
The more appropriate fix would be no land ownership by people or countries that don’t reside in the US, a banishment of investment companies from purchasing houses, and a hard cap of like 5 properties for any individual or company that can be owned as rental properties.
Far too many people/corporations are being landlords as a big business.
Unless there’s a longer dormant period where this is contagious, but shows no symptoms, this disease kills too quickly to become a world pandemic.
I dont believe that what you think their goals are, are their goals.
And now it’s some great spaghetti because it was good before, but now the noodles and sauce are way better?
Why are you giving a question mark? The only leaf under $30k is the base with a 149 mile range. The sv plus with the 212 range is like $37k. That’s $10,000 more than a volt and still like 30 or 40 miles less range.
Also, yes, 149 would be enough for most people who never want a vehicleto take out of town, but you’re leaving out a huge amount of problems with a range like that. First, if you’re going to charge it every day it means you better own a house and garage to keep it in and charge, because charging stations for 45 minutes every other day or so would be terrible to deal with. Then if you live in a place where it gets really cold that mileage will be hacked down to about 110 miles. Plus, your battery will not last nearly as long if you have to use most of its range all the time and always have to charge it up to 100% full. Charging an EV up to just 80% or so capacity and recharging it at about 20% will literally double the lifespan of the battery. A small capacity EV like that won’t last nearly as long as one with a bigger battery.
Drop a honda NA 4 cylinder drivetrain into a nissan vehicle and sell it for a lower price than a Honda and I’d be cool with it. Nissans only really issue is their engines and trannys they use.
Except the chevy volt is in the same sub 30k category and they handily beat the pants off of the leaf in range. The leaf only gets a meager 149 miles per charge. The volt can go about 100 miles further and has the ability to charge faster.
You ever been hit with a waffle bat? Those fuckers hurt, man.
Work on your reading comprehension.
The costs of running an oven for an hour is probably costing you like 40 cents and most of that is pre heating. Buy a bread maker or a toaster oven to make your loaves in and it will be less than half that. For most cooking, the electricity used is a rounding error.
