I 've learned to NEVER give anything away on CL. Always have at least some minimal charge, like 5 bucks. Otherwise you’ll end up suffering multiple no-shows, and often finally have stuff taken by people who will just be taking to to try to sell should they decide to actually come get it at all. At $5, they still may flake out, but at least replying and having to consider a small out of pocket will weed out most time wasters

There isn’t a lot more they can do that you or I couldn’t. Because a majority of voters didn’t turn up, or have the moral fabric of pond scum and voted for Republicans for government offices, giving both houses of Congress, the White House, and the Supreme Court over to the American Fascist Party. If you have any useful suggestions about what the party now completely out of federal power should be doing, I’m sure about a third of the country would like to know.
Gee, wouldn’t it be a surprise if a stock selloff by administration people had occurred just before this announcement? No one would expect that.
And use the resulting funds to make refunds later to exporters in proportion to how much they ship those same items to non-US countries. Make it cheaper for EU, etcetera, to get those things and establish trade patterns.
