I’m not sure whay the OS you use is, but on linux (debian based) they have a Curl installer that installs their Systemd service preconfigured for your account and the specific tunnel you’re using.

Once that is installed, configuration is pretty easy. Inside their ZeroTrust portal, you will find the options to configure ports.

Always point your tunnel to https://localhost:port or http://localhost:port. You can get a TLS cert from lets-encrypt for your first one. New certifications are issued by cloudflare’s partners regularly to prevent expiration. I think I have like 3 for my domain now? 1 from Lets-Encrypt and a couple from Google.

This could be totally unrelated, but when I first configured my domain, I used DuckDNS as my DNS registrar so I could do everything over wireguard. That’s is still set up and in Cloudflare I still have duckdns included in my DNS registry. Could he worth a shot to set that up and add it to your DNS registry on cloudflare.

I use a cloudflare tunnel, ISP won’t give me a static IP and I wanna keep my firewall locked down tight.

I used to love that movie, went to try and rewatch it recently and was hit with a blast of early 2000’s casual transphobia. Couldn’t keep watching after, it put a really sour taste in my mouth.

Gods, plural. But believe is a weird word.

I commune with the ancient gods of my ancestors, whether I believe in them is complicated though. I spent most of my life atheist after the christian church failed to grab me. I learned of my ancestral religion from my great grandmother and my great aunt. Grandma was Catholic on paper but still recognized the old gods. My aunt called herself a druid.

I choose to commune with the old gods because I have to believe in something. I’ve felt the call of spirit, the gaping void in my heart where spirituality was meant to be, but I do not trust organized religion. I don’t trust the churches. I don’t trust those who would hold power, enforced by faith, over those who do not know better.

I hope I didn’t imply that my practices are the same as in modern Hungary. My practices are entirely my own, developed from what my great grandparents taught me. They immigrated here as children close to a century ago, and were Catholic on paper when they did.

The culture in my family that survived americanization is slovak and Hungarian in nature. My mother failed to pass most of the culture her grandmother tried to pass to her, so I’m doing my best to return to my roots.

The rate at which I absorb information is disgusting. Yes please finish your sentence I already have a response why are you taking so long. How did I learn that? I picked up the manual and did it. It comes with accidentally hurting people: frequently I say things thinking something hould be obvious when it is not, while unintended, it often hurts my partner who is usually in the line of fire when I let some dumb shit outta my mouth and insult someone’s intelligence.

In the United States, political violence has ensured overrepresentation of minority populations below the poverty line. Requireing the financial means to have a child thereby limits minority procreation.

To address this, a universal basic income as well as a stipend for parents would be necessary. In the US, this is far away from ever happening, eere actively moving in the opposite direction. Mandatory birth control in this country is eugenics.

I had to explain that “you get what you pay for” to a disgruntled (and later banned from my store) customer years ago.

At the time I was selling eyewear for Red Eyewear Giant (now owned by Blue Eye-care Giant™) and a guy orders the absolute cheapest product for his quite strong prescription. The RX was roughly a -7 on each eye, not huge but definitely significantly thicker than average. The gentleman wanted LARGE eyewear. The man did not want to spend much.

I offered a quote for the ideal product for his vision, which is a 1.7 index lens with scratch resistant non-glare and a hydrophobic coating (well get to why thats important). The man declines and decides he wants the absolute bare minimum, cool, cr-39 plastic lenses, uncoated. No amount of education on the products would change his mind, I chalked it up to a budget thing, explained the downsides of his choice (to absolve myself of liability for the issues I knew he’d have) and allowed the oirchase to go through with confirmation he understood the issues.

Now, what we’ve just done here is gone from a very lightweight, low thermal mass product that repels water, to a HEAVY, High mass product with absolutely no water repellant properties. This is in Houston, TX - a literal swamp, and the Air conditioning capital of the US.
