Israel’s complete blockade has passed seven weeks, and “people are running out of ways to cope,” the U.N. agency said. “The fragile gains made during the short ceasefire have unravelled.”
The Philadelphi corridor, which is the border separating Egypt and Gaza is currently controlled by and occupied by Israel, as they refused to withdraw from it as stipulated in the previous ceasefire agreement that they largely ignored.

Egypt is irrelevant anyway. There’s a layer of Israeli surrounding the border
Egypt could open its border for refugees though.
How are the refugees supposed to make it across the occupied Philadelphi corridor when the IDF is known to shoot on sight, and recklessly?
If the border was open, the IDF would let them pass through. There were periods of this war, when the IDF didn’t control Philadelphi.
Egypt has let a limited number of Gazans through the border.
That brings you back to this issue
