I’ve no problem with people enjoying things, but…

Phillips-Hunter estimates it will take him two years to pay off the credit card debt he’s taking on for his six-day trip to the U.S., including the $1,350 he spent on a ticket for the Scotland-Morocco match.

That’s absolutely insane, to watch a game.

My tolerance and support for other peoples’ recreational activities ends when my tax dollars get embezzled and funneled to billionaires in the name of “fun”.

Agreed. I’m happy to let people enjoy PLENTY of stuff I think is a stupid waste of time. Because when grown-ass adults decide to play Beyblade they’re not doing it in a stadium paid for by tax breaks made by defunding my public schools and road repairs.

Enjoy things that don’t use your money to fund corruption and illegal activities.

I agree, so why force yourselves onto an entire city? Let us enjoy our city.

People seem to enjoy a lot of things that actively destroy the planet, support slavery and hurt animals.

What like the US passtime of hunting? The call is coming from inside the building.

That’s such an American response. The only reason that animal populations get out of control is because all their natural predators were haunted to extinction centuries ago. Nature is quite capable looking after itself when humans stop dicking around with it
