The USA hasn’t won a war since 1945, despite spending more on their military than the whole rest of the world and being constantly at war the whole time and having the best tech by a long shot.
Losing that much with all those advantages isn’t “might”. It’s incompetence.
Truman, a democrat, was fighting against the spread of communism while in office. under his watchful eye McCarthyism spread along with the “red scare”. All things that currently empower fascist ideologies today. I think it’s fair to say that he would probably be a blue-MAGA today.

Bush, a republican. it seems his only goal was to become president. once he was, he didn’t know what to do anymore and let Dick Cheney do most the work. Dick paved the way for much of the fascist rule we suffer with today.

all these wars were fought over bullshit reasons that had zero merit in being fought. maybe with the exception of Korea. Had the influence of China spread to Korea, it would have had broad repercussions on the pacific region that likely would have caused much of Asia to succumb to Chinese rule.
I mean Trump’s a moron but people assumed the US military still had some might.
Problem is the military is only as good as it’s leaders and it’s definitely got Trump disease.
