Exactly. All these arguments about how “the money would be more useful elsewhere” only serve to confuse people into thinking the government is just making uninformed financial decisions. There’s always money for war. The arms business model is basically planned obsolescence taken to the extreme. As soon as you use their product, you have to buy more.
