Roughtly translated she wrote : Kozo Okamoto. I dedicated my whole life to the palestinian cause. When there is oppression, resistance is not only a right but a duty.

Kozo Okamoto is a japanese terrorist who killed civilians in a terrorist attack in 1972.

The apology of terrorism is illegal in France.

She is a member of the european Parliamant.

I hope these informations help to understant the context.

Wow, I’ll admit my guess was wrong: that’s a pretty clear endorsement of terrorism. I still don’t think she should be arrested.

Also I think it’s terrible journalism that they didn’t say specifically what she posted. That’s necessarily context. Thanks for sharing it.

Thanks for posting the actual material. Well, that’s not looking great.

I don’t believe struggles can be fought without violence, that’s just what the naive and the supporters of the status quo want everyone to think. But when someone decide their contribution to a cause is to be an MP, they should either abide by the principles behind it or choose a different course of action. Just my 2ct obviously.
