Assuming the entire citizenry must be made to pay for the sins of the leadership is a road to ever escalating violence.

There have been retaliatory strikes in every war ever, yet all conflicts end eventually.
The point is the endgame.

There seems to be overwhelming support for Israel’s behaviour internally. I dislike the Israeli people immensely.
