What if I tell an AI tool to make me a beat using a specific sample? That’s meat doing the sampling.

no, it’s not. and you’re giving up creativity and exploration to a machine, to a language model.

for fucks sake have some pride in the humans who can do it without stealing the process of creating.

People say the exact same thing about hip hop when somebody samples a song. Just the new generation of that argument.

What if there was consent and royalties paid for the music that’s used to create music with gen AI?

it just shows how morally bankrupt you are to compare hiphop to AI.

what if. what if you grew a sense of pride in your own artistic merits and stopped stealing from actual creators?

what if you gave a shit about the species.

what if we never interacted again because I’m gonna block ya.

You have a lot of misdirected anger. You’re not even reading my comment. The fight you have is not with me or AI. It’s with how corporations are training their LLM’s.

There is absolutely a way to have ethical generative AI and create music with it. The question was if you still think that’s immoral, but all good if you can’t have that conversation.

            I hope you find peace.
