Russia never made targeted threats at our sovereignty. The US has been doing nothing but that for over a year now.

Whether the US has problems doesn’t change the fact that Russia is a hollowed-out gas station with a museum-grade military. The ‘World’s Second Army’ is currently begging North Korea for ammo and losing its Black Sea Fleet to a nation without a navy. That’s the reality of Russia: an incompetent, corrupt mess that provides zero value to the world.

The US will get there in time. For now, Trump is still busy squandering the momentum that the US accumulated from a century of more able administrators.
