Like in this case, the lack of a qualifier made me think all Japanese cherry blossom festivals were cancelled, but it was one Japanese cherry blossom festival in Arakurayama Sengen park near Mt Fuji.
That said, I have full understanding and empathy for the residents. Fuck tourists who can’t behave abroad. I wonder if they can’t behave at home, too?

I’d go Chinese. Plenty of pictures and videos of them climbing on to the trees, or heavily shaking them, so they get their perfect picture surrounded by the falling petals.
