    Gonna hear a lot from the people who care about this so I’ll chime in with my thoughts that are somewhat counter to that. I don’t like guns. I don’t think anyone should have them I don’t care what your reason is or why you want them (including police for standard duties). People who have guns and have “genuine uses” for multiple firearms are all people who live in rural Australia. At our core we’re a metropolitan country and we shouldn’t cater our laws to the few. If the vast majority of the people in this country don’t want people owning multiple firearms, then we have a democratic mandate to do just that; regardless of how badly this is gonna affect your hobby.

      These changes make it illegal to criticise Israel or Netanyahu, punishable by imprisonment for years

      This will also increase the cost of living due to impact on farms

        I was under the impression that they separated the hate speech and gun control bills. This isn’t going to increase the cost of living that’s ridiculous. I’m sure any use farmers have for guns can be accomplished with 4, and if not that’s a clear sign of incompetence and they shouldn’t have guns anyway.
