Three quarters of Germans consider the United States to be an unreliable partner, according to a survey published on Thursday.
78% of those queried currently consider France to be a trustworthy partner and 74% consider the UK to be a trustworthy partner.
According to the survey, 40% consider Ukraine to be a trustworthy partner, while 48% of respondents believe that Germany cannot trust Ukraine.

And for good reason. Remember when the NSA tapped the German chancellor’s cell phone, even under Obama? Not to mention the constant industrial espionage… It’s been a long time since we could even think of the US as our partner or ally.
It’s a bit ironic, but last week we got the news that the BND has surveiled Obamas communication on the Air Force One for multiple years lol
Yes, very ironic indeed. Nowadays, everyone seems to be spying on everyone else. That’s probably how it is in a world where the secret services operate outside of any democratic control.
Nowadays? That’s how it’s always been since any country had the capability of spying on others.
Every country is spying on every other country, always have and always will. That’s nothing new, or partisan. That’s just business as usual for ALL sides. Find something else to get outraged about.
Such as the open threat to invade a NATO founding member state?
Yes, that’s a good one!
That’s a separate subject, a Strawman.
