President Donald Trump just made it clear that he already has his eyes set on a new target following the US’s capture of the president of Venezuela. During a press conference on Saturday, he urged Colombian President Gustavo Petro to ‘watch his ass.’ The threat marks a dramatic escalation in tensions across Latin America, with Trump openly invoking the Monroe Doctrine to assert US dominance in the Western Hemisphere.

For fucks sake not everything is a damn distraction from the files.

I am so tired of every little thing being a “distraction”, as if it is not entirely possible multiple awful things can happen at the same time.

The Epstein files can be easily read by cutting the redacted text out of word and pasting the text only option into a new file.

The press and public have the ability to focus only on one bad thing at a time

It’s the Gish gallop and Donald and his crew are reaaaaally good at it.

The fucker needs to be out of office asap and “we” need to focus on something that will stick. Being a fucking pedo is something even hardcore MAGA can’t rationalise

Venezuela is not a sovereign country. It was a country taken hostage by a dictator. Source: am Venezuelan.

Edit: lol at the downvotes without explanation.

If your country didn’t float on oil the US wouldn’t have given half a shit. I’m glad there are Venezuelans who enjoy being a colony (again) and seeing their country plundered and pillaged while having the exact same small amount of personal liberty they had before.

I never said I liked the current situation. I only pointed out that Venezuela was not a sovereign country like OP claimed. That is all.

People are having a hard time with reading comprehension here.

Yeah, it’s always voting fraud when someone kicks out the US oil companies. People are having a hard time with all the CIA scrubs posing as Venezuelans, not with reading comprehension. Enjoy Langley.

My friend don’t take this as benevolent by the US. If they get it their way nothing good is coming for Venezuela

I’m not talking about the U.S. I’m simply clarifying that Venezuela is not a sovereign country. It hasn’t been since 2013 when its elections were rigged after Chavez died.
