I read that years ago but had forgotten about it. Funny how as a kid we were confident that the covers would mysteriously repel any and all monsters from getting you.
What do you mean “as a kid”?
I wish my monsters were still like that as an adult rather than being existential dread!
That’s why you curl up in your warm comfy covers to nurse a hangover where the real world monsters cannot get to you.
