Look I hate religion as much as any reddit atheist but even if you could magically snap your fingers and remove religion from the world absolutely nothing would change. You didn’t remove evil, just one of its many, many justifications. If Israel wasn’t Jewish, they’d argue that they’re - oh wait they already claim themselves as their own race of people. If pedophiles weren’t priests they’d argue that - oh wait they already do argue that teenagers are biologically prime birthing age.
