If crying most days is crashing out, then yes.

My company has its own internal system that leverages GPT models. So yeah it’s definitely becoming prevalent. My boss specifically is always toting it as some amazing tool, all the other business wankers think it’s great, my direct colleagues have taken to letting it summarize their meeting notes and clean up their emails before sending.
All in all, it’s a grim situation. From the execs who think it will change the workforce for the better, down to the average workers who are losing their ability to proofread.
I’m beyond the point of airing my grievances and just find myself idly standing by hoping enough of them get owned by it somehow and become weary of it. I don’t think that’s gonna happen, but a guy can dream.

I’m a lazy follower who never figured out who I was, so I just followed the path of least resistance. As a result, I don’t like myself very much and cope with sarcasm and wit.

Realistically I think your options are to ignore/block, or confront them against your better judgement. Which, as you know will likely constitute going circles for hours before having to bow out because your brain is coming out of your ears. The problem with both these options is that they likely have the same outcome. However, the latter will also leave them resenting you and the rest of the “online leftists” even more than they already do. In fact, it will probably embolden them in their pursuit of radical centrism just to own the “tankies”.
That’s just my experience and observations tho…
First thing I thought was the same as you, but you said workshop and made me think they are a NASCAR fan. Either way, run.
