2 days agoExcept that Venezuela & Colombia are a lot closer to the US and a lot of the US population already speaks Spanish and the fact that a decent portion of the military is Hispanic.

Being tougher than Afghanistan or Vietnam was the point I was trying to make. A war in Venezuela or Colombia would be even more of a quagmire than Vietnam.
