Yes looks very interesting.
Just wanted to say thanks again got this set up a couple days ago and works like a charm the tailscale documentaion is actually really good at explaining to a newbie like me.
Exactly this… It’s like throwing your silverware in the draw and then saying I can’t find my special knife
For your second point can’t you tag the song as explicit and put in it a separate album (album name (explicit) ) and unmatch the album (or add a specific explicit version to music barainz to match with) I have had to do this with instrumental versions assuming it’s the same process.
Not gonna lie I love Plexamp so glad I gave it a chance awhile ago.
Nice thanks I looked at other examples but didn’t see one for immich thanks again for help I think this will be the route I take until later looking into caddy.
Thank you
Did some looking at sidecar and it looks similar to another one I have called glueton for qbit. Immich and others are Allready running in docker so if I ‘sidecar’ tailscale to the container then as you said it could be immich.*.it’s.net right? Sounds good thanks for input.
Ok thanks I will check to see if they have a url/path option.
Do you have a suggestion on a service to set up my own reverse proxy?
Sorry. I just mean to ask if I can use tailscale and funnel multiple ports in order to give access to a couple different selfhosted applications. I am not sure what application routing is. I am still not sure I explaining it well enough.
Ok thanks
Neat! So its my own “streamable” type website. I’m gonna give this a try. I am confused do I have to give people “access” to view clips do they have to make an account or does the link suffice it’s unclear.
There is also vesktop on Linux aswell witch is what I use. But I’ve tried armcord and webcord before.
I use Plex (Plexamp) and I can not complain. I don’t really access via the web browser however, I use the app for dedicated music playback.
I know for me I had to give Plex the local IPs to force local streaming because it would try to stream remote even on local network.
just found out there is an “Experimental” setting for it to “Try to embed the lyrics to the track files when possible” setting have not tried it myself
