I’d be willing to bet anyone who’s even had a Coke before is aware of this.

…when did they phase out coca-cola classic branding?..i posit that anyone whose age of literacy followed later wouldn’t organcially become aware of new coke; might even be skeptical of its veracity the first time they heard mention…
Before anyone asks, New Coke, or Coke II as it was renamed by then, was ceased in 2002, with a brief return in 2019 as a Stranger Things tie-in.
…that’s when it ended original production in its final holdout markets, but it withdrew from most markets at least a decade earlier…
