Power to be cut for as much as 16 hours a day across most of Ukraine while repairs are carried out
Power will be cut for between eight and 16 hours across most regions of Ukraine on Sunday, state transmission system operator Ukrenergo has said, after Russian attacks targeting energy infrastructure reduced the country’s generating capacity to “zero”.
Moscow, which has escalated attacks on Ukraine’s infrastructure in recent months, launched hundreds of drones at energy facilities across the country from Friday into Saturday, which killed at least seven people, according to Ukrainian officials.
The Russian attacks have disrupted electricity, heat and water supplies in several Ukrainian cities, with state power firm Centerenergo warning generating capacity “is down to zero”.
Is Ukraine “allowed” to fire missiles into Russia yet?
Ukraine also developed its own missile, called Flamingo, with a very nice range! No need to ask for permissions to use those!

Thanks, it was a genuine question since I haven’t seen the latest coverage. I guess Russia’s missile defense is doing its job since I haven’t heard about power in Moscow being shut off yet.
Ukrainians aren’t aiming for electrical energy. They aim for oil refineries mostly, which is Moscow’s cash cow.
Funny you should say that, they actually caused one in Moscow just over a week ago (October 31st)
It seems to me like Ukraine is focussing its efforts on military targets and oil production, though. Russia’s oil industry has been getting absolutely hammered, to the point where it has had to start importing fuel
